TMC accepts Tapas Pal’s apology: Derek

The Trinamool Congress on Wednesday said it has accepted party MP Tapas Pal’s unconditional apology offered yesterday for his derogatory remarks against women and the matter ends there. ‘Trinamool Congress accepts Tapas Pal’s unconditional apology as the party believes the letter was written in right spirit, the tone and manner of the apology is right and the matter ends there,’ party spokesman Derek O’Brien told reporters after a meeting in which TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee was present.
