Three held for killing security guards at Civil Lines school
Two days after two security guards were found murdered inside a Christian school in North Delhi's Civil Lines area, three persons were arrested on Friday.
According to the police, this was a incident of burglary gone wrong and six persons were allegedly involved in it. Five of them have been identified so far.
Of the three accused arrested on Friday, one happens to be a proclaimed bad character and another is involved in numerous cases of theft of pipes and bath fittings, said a police official, who did not disclose the names of any of the accused.
The official added that the accused had conducted a recce of the area before committing the crime.
But the presence of guards at a particular spot on the night of the incident turned out to be a shock. The accused then allegedly killed the guards.
“We are yet to identify one accused and nab two others who have identified but could not be tracked,” said the official investigating the case.
