Three get jail for stealing phone

Three men have been sentenced to jail till 31 December by a Delhi court after they pleaded guilty of stealing a mobile phone early this year on 30 July.
With the three accepting their guilt, Metropolitan Magistrate Sandeep Garg convicted them of theft but showed leniency to them in sentencing saying they have been in jail for quite some time after their arrest for stealing the phone.
The offence of theft entails three years’ jail term on conviction.
