Three drown in separate incidents

Three persons including two students were drowned in three separate incidents in the district on Friday.

While the police recovered the body of Partha Dutta, a primary teacher, the bodies of two others, Tanmay Bairagi (18) and  Rohit Singh (17) are yet to be traced.

Dutta along with his friends had gone for swimming at Shillighat under Galsi police station. After some time his friends could not trace him and raised an alarm. Some local youth started searching for them and finally they recovered his body.  Bairagi, a resident of Jaijuti area under Galsi police station who was a class XI student was drowned. His body is yet to be traced. Singh, a student of Class XI of Panagarh Hindi High School drowned while bathing at the Damodar river.
