Though a lens, by a mirror

The National Gallery of Modern Art has the perfect breather for the next week. They are screening five movies by award winning screenwriter, film-maker and photographer Sooni Taraporevala. 

Under the title Through a lens, By a Mirror: The Parsis (1977-2013), NGMA will be screening Salaam Bombay! (19 Oct0ber)  Mississippi Masala (22 October), Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar (24 October), The Namesake (26 October) and Little Zizou (29 October) over five days. 

With three of Mira Nair’s films on the cards (Salaam Bombay! Mississippi Masala and The Namesake) and one by Sooni Taraporevala (Little Zizou) - this event is not one to be missed.  

The event also has a photo exhibition by Taraporevala on display at NGMA till 3 November. The exhibition is open from 10 am to 5 pm every day.  All movies are going to be screened from 11 in the morning. Guests are to be seated by 10:50 am.
