This year Air India will serve Bengali delicacies to mark Poila Boishakh

Air India will be serving quintessential Bengali delicacies on April 14 Thursday, to celebrate Poila Boishakh- the first day of the Bengali New Year. These lip-smacking dishes will be on offer on all Air India flights from Kolkata to metros, Port Blair and international destinations.

All time favourites like Cholar Dal with kismis and narkel, Hinger Kachuri, Mangsher or Phulkopir chop, Chicken cutlet, mochar cutlet Sita Bhog will be served for breakfast with a daaber jol (tender coconut water) amongst the other normal refreshments. 

Chicken Kabiraji, Dimer Devil, Phoolkopir  Singara, Mochar Cutlet, Ghoogni, Chicken cutlet, Malpua etc will tickle the tastebuds for high tea along with the all-time favourite sip of gandharaj lebur ghol. For Lunch and Dinner,  Doi Kesar Murgi, Kumror Chechki, Pulao, Paratha, Moongmohan Dal, Kacha Lanka Murgir Jhol, Pataler Dolma, Echorer Kofta, Chanar Kalia, Mishti doi  Kamala Bhog will bring the flavour of Bengali New Year in the sky. All these delicacies will be served on trays to lend a Bangla touch to passengers flying with Air India on Bengali New Year day.
