Thirty two women Railways employees felicitated

Hailing the contribution of railway women’s welfare organizations, Chairman Railway Board (CRB) Vinay Mittal on Monday said their services will always be remembered for ‘supplementing and complementing’ the national transporters’ role as an employer with a welfare centric approach. ‘The Railways Women’s Welfare Central Organization (RWWCO) has always risen to the occasion, whenever there has been a need, be it an act of environmental concern or a national calamity, an issue where compassion and help is immediately required,’ Mittal said here at the RWWCO felicitation function here.
RWWCO, which paid particular attention on betterment of womenfolk of vast railway family and their children, felicitated 32 women railway employees for their outstanding performances. CRB said ‘What makes their task special is that they have achieved all this along with their responsibilities as a home-maker and without any financial support from the government.’
