Theatre ready to enthrall audience

To make one’s weekend interesting and filled with laughter, Bahroop, a theatre group well known for its thought provoking productions will present Gaadi Prajatantra ki, a play based on the writings of Shri Lal Shukla of the Raag –Darbari fame, this Sunday at Kamani Auditorium.  It will mark the presentation of IFFCO’s Shri Lal Shukla Samman 2015 to Ashthabhuja Shukla, the renowned Hindi poet.

Gaadi Prajatantra ki is a laugh-a-minute political satire written by Shahid Anwar who has many awards to his credit. The play has been directed by KS Rajendran whose Agni aur Barkha, Richard-III and Aurangzeb have been widely acclaimed recently. The music has been scored by Ajay Kumar of the Airlift fame.
