The Graduate Photography Exhibition which was inaugurated by eminent photographer Dayanita Singh is an annual affair at SACAC. The course culminates every year with a Graduate Photo Exhibition. The exhibition provides the graduating students a platform to launch themselves into the world of professional photography and also provides them hands on experience of turnkey photography projects.
The exhibition will feature works of students in different genres of photography including documentary, conceptual and self-portraiture. The students will also put on show self-published books of their works.
The exhibition is an annual cultural affair and has been curated by eminent photographer of international repute, Sumit Dayal, who is a faculty member at the institute. Commenting on the exhibition Sunit Dayal said, 'This exhibition acts as a platform for the students to confront their fears and as a mirror that reflects their vision through their work.'
During exhibition week eminent photographers, Dileep Prakash and Altaf Qadri, will also join the students and guests for interactive sessions, where they will share their experience and offer their insights.
When: 10:00 AM- 8:00 PM everyday till 6 December
