The fairer shades of Europe

The 18th European Union Film Festival 'Celebrating Women' is all set to take over the Capital on 30 April. Kicking off at 11:00 am at Gallery Romain Rolland, Alliance Française de Delhi, the ten day festival from 8 May - 19 May comprising of a selection of 24 films, narrating many engaging stories, showcasing different shades, and nuances of women, and offering an insight into their remarkable lives.

Some of the movies scheduled to be screened are – Altiplano, Lora from Morning till Evening, Little Girl Blue, Applause, After Five in the forest Primeval, Graveyard Keeper's Daughter and more.

The curtain raiser interaction will have the presence of Pavel Svitil, Minister Counsellor - Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to India, Jean-Philippe Bottin, Director, Alliance Française de Delhi, Angela Trezza, Director, Istituto Italiano di Cultura (Italian Cultural Centre), Tibor Kovacs, Director of Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, Jesús Clavero Rodríguez, Instituto Cervantes.
