Beijing: An Indian company on Thursday launched a mobile application in China that will allow people to keep their email addresses in Mandarin.
A Jaipur-based company, Data XGen, which has already launched the application in the Russian and Arabic scripts, has entered the Chinese market.
The domain of the free email service will be @datamail which can be registered in Chinese script. The launch was in Guangzhou city of Beijing.
"After the launch of Russian language email addresses service, we enabled Arabic email and now Chinese script email address for Chinese people," Ajay Data, founder and CEO of Data XGen Technologies, said in Guangzhou.
"We will be soon entering into other countries too so as to enable billions of non-English people to join the worldwide Internet by simply removing the language barrier," Data added.
