Teacher who consumed poison dies

A 25-year-old civic school teacher died in a hospital here, a day after she consumed poison in her home over a family dispute, police said Sunday. Her husband was arrested.
Vandana was found in an unconscious state by a family member at her home in east Delhi on Friday, police said, adding that she was depressed. She telephoned her parents after eating the poison and said she was going to die. In January, Vandana married Manish, who is in a private job, a police officer said. Manish was arrested on Sunday.
