Taylor Swift honoured by ‘proud’ mom at ACM Awards

Singer Taylor Swift was presented the Milestone award at the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards by her mother, who called the Blank Space hitmaker her pride.

Swift, 25, thanked the country music community for their kindness and for  respecting the singer’s desire to venture into pop music and explore other genres, said The Hollywood Reporter.

“It’s my pleasure, my pride and my joy, to introduce my daughter,” the mother, Andrea Finlay, said, after giving a speech about raising the superstar singer.
