Following fresh landslides that hit in the Ramban district of the Jammu region, the Jammu-Srinagar national highway has been kept closed on Saturday for the fourth consecutive day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that some Kashmiris are busy throwing rocks at each other while others are using those to bring progress in Jammu and Kashmir.

The 10.98 km long tunnel built at a cost of over Rs 2,500 crore is situated at an altitude of 1,200 metres.
