‘Swati Maliwal not even remotely connected to me’

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday denied the charges of appointing Swati Maliwal, wife of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Naveen Jaihind, as a head of Delhi Commission for Women.
Presently, Maliwal is the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Kejriwal and is heading the Grievance Cell.
The BJP, however, criticised Kejriwal on choosing Maliwal over Pushpa Maitri during his 49 days previous tenure.
“Some media houses and Opposition leaders are alleging that Swati is my cousin. Complete nonsense. She is not even remotely connected,” Kejriwal tweeted on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyaya alleged that Kejriwal was practising what he used to oppose during his movement days.
