Swamy writes to ED on National Herald issue

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy on Friday sought an investigation by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the wake of an order by a Delhi court on a private criminal complaint filed by him against Congress president Sonia Gandhi, vice-president Rahul Gandhi and others in the National Herald case.
In a letter to Enforcement Director, Subramanian Swamy enclosed an order of chief judicial magistrate, Patiala House courts, on his complaint alleging various criminal offences in acquiring the assets of Associated Journals Limited, which ran the now-defunct National Herald newspaper by Young Indian, a newly floated company, and sought an investigation into the allegations levelled.
