'Swachch Delhi' app gets over 13K complaints, max for SDMC

The ‘Swachch Delhi’ app has received over 13,000 sanitation-related grievances since its launch last week, with maximum complaints being received from areas falling under the jurisdiction of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC).

“We have received 13,400 complaints at our central control room since the launch of the app on November 16. And, we have forwarded all grievances to the agencies concerned. Of all urban local bodies, the maximum complaints relate to SDMC (4,400) followed by North MCD (3,200) and East MCD (2,600),” senior official said at the launch of ‘Swachch Delhi Abhiyan’ on Sunday. The official added: “The PWD has received 1,700 and New Delhi Municipal Council (130) an Delhi Cantonment Board (43) complaints."
