Suspects of Kunda murder case gets 7-day police remand

A special CBI court on Monday ordered police remand of seven days from 9 April for two brothers, who were held by the CBI in connection with the murder of Balipur pradhan Nanhe Yadav in Pratapgarh on 2 March. Special CBI Judge Mirza Zeenat allowed police remand of Ajay Pal and Vijay Pal from 9 to 16 April.
The murder of the pradhan in Pratapgarh had triggered violence in which Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy SP) Zia-ul-Haq was killed. Ajay Pal and Vijay Pal, both sons of Kamta Pal who is also a suspect in Pradhan’s murder, was arrested after several days of interrogation.
