CORN CHEESE BALLS

INGREDIENTS

Potato150 gm

Corn Cob1 medium

Grated Cheese½ Cup

Black Pepper Powder½ tsp

Dried Basil½ tsp

Garlic Paste½ tsp

Wheat Flour (Maida)4 tbsp

Salt to taste


METHOD

Boil the potatoes and corn cob; keep them aside to cool. In a bowl, mash the potatoes and add the scraped corn kernels. To this mix, add all the above ingredients – grated cheese, black pepper powder, dried basil, garlic paste, maida and salt to taste. Mix well and make small balls of the mixture. Heat the oil to the correct temperature and drop these balls in the oil and fry till golden brown. Drain the excess oil in paper towel and serve hot with your choice of chutney or tomato ketchup.
