Chudidaar Pista Aloo

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients (For 2 servings)

2 medium potatoes

1 liter oil

1teaspoon chili flakes

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon paprika powder

1 teaspoon salt

Chopped coriander for garnish

1cup corn flour

100 gm pistachio

100gm yogurt


Method:

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Insert a skewer into the potato and gently push the skewer all the way through it. Hold a sharp, thin knife at an angle and cut in the opposite direction you are turning the skewered potato. Gently fan out the potato down the length of the skewer, until you have an even gap between the slices forming the spiral. In a medium bowl mix corn flour, chili flakes, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, salt. Add water and make thin batter. Place the skewered potato into the bowl of batter and coat it evenly. Fry potato in medium heat till potato gets golden color. Garnish with pistachio powder and chopped coriander.
