Six ad-hoc teacher of Swami Shraddhanand College have been sitting on strike for some time, for non payment of their salaries.
The teachers have alleged that the college have not paid them since past three months. The students seem to be at the receiving end due to the ongoing tussle. ‘We have exams from 24 November but the teachers are not taking any classes. Our internal assessment will be delayed due to this which will affect our result,’ said Jaideep Mann, a student of the college.
Despite the weeks of protest by the teachers, the matter still remains unresolved.
