Striking the right note

The concert was an addition to the recently launched Piano Club. It showcased another <g data-gr-id="22">globally renowned</g> pianist for a luxurious culture evening dedicated to music aficionados, in association with Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre and in Digital Partnership with theluxecafe.com. 

Balázs Fülei performed some of the popular numbers. Balázs captured the essence of J S Bach’s grandiose piece to the piano song by F Schubert and the scintillating <g data-gr-id="20">pianism</g> of Liszt to the melodies of Hungarian folk songs and dances. 

Vijay Wanchoo, Sr. Executive Vice President and GM expressed his views on the occasion: “It gives us great pleasure to celebrate yet another <g data-gr-id="25">high voltage</g> musical sojourn celebrating western classical musical genre at the Piano Club, orchestrated by an award-winning Hungarian Pianist- Balázs Fülei. 

We have always worked towards promoting art and culture and the concerts of such a stature are designed to experience <g data-gr-id="28">luxury</g> of an unmatched repertoire.  We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre for making this possible and inviting a concert classical pianist like Balázs Fülei”.  

He further added: “Stepping towards live piano recitals on Steinway, our effort has always been to bring to our guests enchanting, influential concerts by globally acclaimed maestros and organise many such great events at the Piano Club, sweeping the music lovers with unique renditions each time.”

The pièce de résistance by Balázs concluded with a lavish buffet spread of traditional European recipes from Nostalgia, in the midst of praises for the musical maestro.  The perfect French onion soup, Coq au vin or Ratatouille, the specialties from the erstwhile years evoked the era gone by in true western style, satiating the connoisseurs.
