Storm damages several houses in Digha

At the time when people are bearing the excessive heat in South Bengal districts, the residents in Digha had suffered huge loss due to heavy storm on Monday night. 

The storm damaged many houses and uprooted many trees. The weather in the city was also a bit pleasant on Monday unlike other days. According to information, the temperature has gone up slightly on Tuesday.   

Alipore Meteorological office has predicted that the temperature in the city and its adjoining areas will remain around 40 degrees Celsius in next couple days. The heat wave will also sweep through the South Bengal and Western districts including Kolkata.  

The temperature in the city dropped by some notches in last two days, though the heat wave condition was prevailing. The Met office also predicted that rain in some parts of the state will not bring respite from the hot and sultry as the temperature is again going up coupled with humidity.
