Harinder in final of South Australian Open

Harinder in final of South Australian Open
India's Harinder Pal Sandhu on Friday stormed into the final of the South Australian Open, a PSA world tour event, with a 11-9 14-12 7-11 11-9 win over the top seed Piedro Schweertman of Netherlands in the semi-finals here. The third seed Indian, winner of two previous outings in May, is on the threshold of annexing his eighth PSA title. Improving in strides ever since the quarterfinal finish at the Asian Individuals held in Chennai in April, the former national champion raced to an early lead before conceding a game. However, that was just an aberration as he downed the Dutch opponent in the decider to storm into the final, where he will play fourth seed Rhys Dowling of Australia.
