Serie A: Napoli crush Lazio to stay top

Naples: Napoli dished out a scintillating second-half performance to floor Lazio 4-0 in the Serie A football league at the San Paolo stadium here.
Stefan de Vrij opened the scoring for the visitors in the fourth minute, goals from José Callejón (43rd), Wallace (54th own goal), Mario Rui (56th) and Dries Mertens (73rd) gave the hosts a comfortable victory on Saturday.
Napoli with 63 points, thus regained their top spot, staying one point clear of record league champions Juventus (62) after the 24th round.
Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri celebrated his 100th Serie A game as his record now stands at 71 wins, 18 draws and 11 defeats.
For Napoili, Mertens recovered from an ankle injury, but Raul Albiol, Vlad Chiriches, Faouzi Ghoulam and Arkadiusz Milik missed out while Lorenzo Tonelli got his first appearance since January 2017.
