Real Madrid's Danilo completes Man City move

Brazilian full-back Danilo on Sunday completed his move to join English Premier League side Manchester City from record European football champions Real Madrid. The move ends two less than successful years for the former Porto player, who joined Madrid for around 35 million euros ($40.81 million) two years ago, but failed to win a regular place in the Madrid side due to the form of Dani Carvajal, reports Xinhua news agency.

Danilo made a total of 56 appearances, some of them at left back, in all competitions and scored three goals, while providing nine assists. But he was never able to convince the ever-demanding Madrid supporters, who picked on every supposed error he made during his time at the club. According to reports in the Spanish press, Manchester City have paid a total of 36 million euros ($41.97 million) for the 26-year-old's services, which would be a good piece of business for Madrid if correct.
