Nanda blames misfortune for Delhi Dynamos' failure

new delhi: Sharing his thought on the eve of their dead rubber against ATK , Delhi Dynamos' Nanda Kumar said luck wasn't on their side during the fourth season of Indian Super League.
"We have been playing well the entire season but luck did not support us," said Nanda here on Friday. "We are getting good results now and I'm hoping we can continue this momentum till the end of the season."
He stressed that points table doesn't do justice to the effort they have made throughout the season; added that individual errors could have been avoided. "It's been a difficult season because we have played well but the points table does not show that. We have played good football but conceded some silly goals that could have been avoided. I think individual mistakes have been an issue this season. Gladly, we have corrected them in the last few matches," said the versatile winger.
As they prepare to host ATK at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Saturday, Nanda feels ATK, being two-times defending champions, will make their task cut out for the Lions. "ATK are two time champions so it will be a tough match. They have really good players and they beat us the last time So we want to perform better this time," he said.
