Mohun Bagan-East Bengal derby to take on September 24

Kolkata: The much-awaited season's first derby between arch-rivals Mohun Bagan and East Bengal in the Premier Division of the Calcutta Football League will take place on September 24, just ahead of the Durga Puja festival. The Indian Football Association, however, is yet to announce the venue of the high voltage encounter. It is likely to be in Siliguri. Defending champions East Bengal are currently leading the table. They are three points clear of Mohun Bagan, who have a match in hand.
