Liverpool agree to a £35 mn deal for Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Liverpool: Liverpool FC has agreed to a £35 million deal for Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who-se contract with The Gunners will run out this year also rejected a bid made by Manchester City where he would earn close to £180,000 a week as opposed to £120,000 a week at the Merseyside club, Liverpool.
The English international is yet to have his medical done as he is currently on international duty and will soon be flying to Malta with the England National Football Team. He will undergo his medical at St. George Park before signing a 6-year deal with The Reds.
The fees for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains the highest that Liverpool has paid for a player, however, they will surpass this figure for Naby Keita in the summer transfer window as they have agreed to pay a whopping £48 million for the RB Leipzig player.
The 24-year old English player has started every game for Arsenal this season and has become a pivotal player for their team.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is highly regarded by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and his arrival means that The Reds are looking to up their attack this season. On his latest arrival, Jurgen Klopp stated: "I am really, really happy we have got Alex signed. Since the last game I have been waiting and hoping we could make this transfer and when I got the news he was ours it was fantastic."
