India were handed out a 10-0 thrashing at the hands of South Korea in Group B of 2018 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup qualifying tournament here on Wednesday. The South Korean team dominated the match, scoring five goals in each half at the Kim Il Sung Stadium in downtown Pyongyang. It was India's second consecutive defeat in the tournament. They had been hammered 8-0 by North Korea on Monday. This is the first time for South Korean footballers to play in the capital of North Korea since October 1990. Earlier in the day, North Korea defeated Hong Kong 5-0. N Korea and S Korea will play each other on Friday afternoon and the game is widely expected to decide the group's top position.
