Eden Gardens gears up for IPL opening ceremony

Bollywood starlet Shraddha Kapoor is set to sizzle at the Eden Gardens as the city gears up to host its opening ceremony before the start of the match between Kolkata Knights Riders and Kings XI Punjab on Thursday.

The program will be a fusion of Bengal's traditional chhau dance and Punjab's bhangra. The 19-minute opening ceremony will take place before the match and commence with a performance by Shillong Chamber Choir. The chhau dancers will introduce the KKR team, while KXIP will make an entry with the bhangra dance troupe in the third segment of the opening ceremony. Singer Monali Thakur will also perform during the ceremony.
