Countdown to AKBF's 2nd Pro-Fight begins

New Delhi: ''Impossible is potential, impossible is temporary, impossible is nothing'' Muhammad Ali, the Heavyweight Boxer and an acclaimed World Champion was once quoted as saying. The quotation has highly motivated Amjad Khan, a rising international Boxing Promoter and Founder of Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation who has opened up several career oppurtunities in boxing through his foundation for many aspiring boxers in India and helped them build a career in the sport by providing a professional platform which has also in turn enabled players affliated to his foundation gain experience at the international level.

After the success of its 1st AKBF Pro-Fight Event held at Marwah Studio in Delhi-NCR in June Amjad Khan Boxing Foundation is organising it's 2nd Pro-Fight Event which will be held from 8 September 2018 at Kaddipure School Of Physical Culture in Kolkata between 7 Pm to 9 Pm. The professional boxing event is supported and attended by various key people namely Chief Guest, Firhad Hakim (Minister Of Urban Development); Guest Of Honor - Manoj Malviya (DGP West Bengal Organisation); Sandeep Marwah, (Founder, Noida Film City); Saahil Peerzada (Business Man); Pallavi Chatterjee (Actor & Director Tollywood); Major General Atul Bajpai (Eastern Command); SC Padi (Chief Secretary, South Eastern Railway); Qutub Khan (DSP, West Bengal); Wazid Ali Shah (DIG, BSF); MD. Azam Khan (Ganges Trading Corp).

The Pro Fight Event will feature a total of 10 bouts including 8 Men bouts and 2 female bouts. The competition diversifies in 6 different weight categories with bouts of 4 rounds clocking three minutes each. Professional Boxing Coach Chandan Singh and Naseem Ahmed are two pro coaches who have groomed these professional players to fight for the event. Event manager "Saurabh Pal" has the responsibility to handle the entire program, after the rest of the program can tell how attracted the event is and how it is.

Riding on his ambition to give boxing a sporting leverage, widely recognised as an international sport, Amjad Khan had kickstarted his own venture in the sport in year 2002 when he joined KSOPC Boxing Club in Kolkata and went on to attain many a accolades later on in his career as a boxer after having trained under Mohammad Ali Qamar who was the first Indian to win a gold medal in the respective sport the same year at the Commonwealth Games held in Manchester. Now, almost after two decades the strong-willed child has transformed over the years into a promoter and facilitator of the sport with a single-minded initiave pertaining to the embellishment of the sport with the launch of his 2nd pro-fight event.
