Aubameyang admits contract extension with Dortmund

Dortmund: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has admitted to extending his contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2021 in a dig at the German media.
Several recent reports suggested that the 28-year-old striker had committed to fresh terms at the Bundesliga club.
Aubameyang has now confirmed as much, while also taking the opportunity to point out that he actually put pen to paper some time ago.
He said in a social media post: "Let me listen to music!! Better than the newspapers. It's a bit of time since I extended my contract. But it's not your mistake, you didn't know as much."
Aubameyang had been contracted to Dortmund until 2020 before agreeing to a 12-month extension.
It remains to be seen whether confirmation of fresh terms in Germany will curb the transfer talk which continues to follow the Gabon international around.
Having previously been linked with a high-profile switch to Real Madrid, Premier League side Everton have been mooted as a possible landing spot in January.
Toffees boss Sam Allardyce has admitted to being keen on a proven frontman, but Dortmund remain reluctant to sell at this stage.
