Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 to set up League Cup final against City

London: English football giants Arsenal came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final here.
After a goalless first leg, the Gunners were off to a rocky start at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday when Eden Hazard put Chelsea in front after just seven minutes, reports Xinhua news agency.
Arsenal grabbed a fortunate equaliser five minutes later when Nacho Monreal's header from a corner deflected off both Marcos Alonso and Antonio Ruediger past the helpless Willy Caballero.
Ruediger was unlucky once again as the Gunners took the lead when Alexandre Lacazette's cross from the right hit the Chelsea defender and went straight towards Xhaka, who poked it past Caballero.
In the final, Arsenal will face Manchester City at the Wembley Stadium on February 25.
It will be Arsenal's eighth appearance in the final and their first since losing to Birmingham City in 2011.
Meanwhile, coach Arsene Wenger said the club lost a great player in Chilean star forward Alexis Sanchez after he secured a move to English football giants Manchester United.
Sanchez recently joined the Manchester club as a part of the straight swap deal with Armenian forward Henrikh Mkhitaryan who moved to the London side. "We lost a great player," the Frenchman was quoted as saying by Sky Sports on Wednesday.
