Spolia is Delhi’s next Chief Secy

Deepak Mohan Spolia, a 1979-batch IAS officer, is all set to become Chief Secretary of Delhi government. Spolia, 57, will succeed Praveen Kumar Tripathi, who will retire on 31 December. Spolia, an IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, is currently holding charge of principal secretary, Finance. The Delhi government has sent its recommendation to the Home Ministry to appoint Spolia as the Chief Secretary. Tripathi is likely to be made Chairman of the Public Grievance Commission after his retirement.
