SPMCIL chairman donates Rs 1 crore for flood victims

MS Rana, chairman and managing director, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd presented a Cheque of  Rs. 1,94,53,943 to the Union  Finance Minister P Chidambaram on Tuesday, as a contribution towards Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund in the wake of unprecedented floods in Uttarakhand. The amount includes  Rs.1 crore out of the CSR funds of the company and  Rs. 94,53,943 contributed by SPMCIL  employees as their one day’s salary. The cheque was presented in presence of Dr. Arvind  Mayaram, secretary, department of Economic Affairs, Manoranjan Dash, director (HR) SPMCIL and PN Radkar, director (Tech) SPMCIL.
