Spiritualistic touch to the book fair

This year, New Delhi World Book Fair (NDWBF), organised by the ITPO, has something different and special to cater to the non-readers or those looking for something other than books or literary pieces. 

A nine-day popular annual exhibition, ‘Nakshatra’ 2016 is being held at NDWBF at Pragati Maidan. It was jointly inaugurated by Ram Niwas Goel, Hon’ble Speaker, Delhi State Vidhan Sabha and Shubhra Singh, IAS, Executive Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) at Hall 15, Pragati Maidan in the national Capital on Tuesday.

Present on the occasion were Meenakshi Singh, OSD, ITPO; Arun Bansal, Chairman, Future Point; eminent astrologers; Pandit Jai Prakash Lal ‘Dhage Wale’, experts of alternative therapies; participants and media persons. This concurrent event is in collaboration with Future Point and Phoolwari Convention Centre.

After lighting the traditional lamp, the high dignitaries launched an exclusive, ‘Brihat Shatabdi Panchang’ (100 years calendar,) published by the Future Point to mark the occasion.

With the participation of over 77 participants, ‘Nakshatra’ 2016 features an ancient wisdom for physical, mental and spiritual advancement as well as avenues for eco-friendly lifestyle and harmony with nature. 

Expert advice and consultancy on Astrology, Palmistry, Numerology, Vastu, Feng Shui, Reiki, Yoga, Ayurveda, Acupressure, Tarot Reading, etc are some of the prime features of the ongoing fair along with a number of seminars on astrology and Vedic sciences.
