speeding car kills 1, injures 2

An elderly man died while two women suffered severe injuries when an over-speeding Santro car rammed into them at East Delhi’s Trilokpuri area on Saturday. The victim has been identified as Praful Kumar. The three were rushed to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital where the man was declared brought dead while the two women are said to be in a serious condition, said police. The driver of the car fled from the spot. Locals pelted stones at the car which was impounded by the police.
