Speeding audi crushes 35-yr-old

A speeding red-coloured Audi coming from the Golf Course Extension Road hit a 35-year-old man who died reportedly on the spot. The driver of the Audi car has been identified as 25-year-old Sonia, who is the general manager of <g data-gr-id="18">Spaze</g>, a private company in Gurgaon. The victim, Mahesh (35), who hails from Begusarai, Bihar, was crossing the Sector 56 road when the Audi hit him.

According to information, the deceased was on his way to a hospital with food for his daughter where she was admitted. Mahesh was brought to Paras hospital at 11 am, where he was declared brought dead. After the incident was reported, the woman driver was taken under police custody. An FIR has been registered under Section 279 (rash driving) and 304A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code.

“As soon as we got the news, we reached the spot and took both the woman and her car under police custody,” Parveen Kumar, investigating officer said. The man had major head injuries and had died on the spot.

A source also revealed that the woman was sent home on bail at 3:30 in the afternoon after being produced in front of the magistrate.
