Special Raahgiri Days to reach out to all age groups

In order to make the weekend more exciting and interesting for Delhiites, especially kids and youngsters, Delhi Tourism in collaboration with NDMC and Delhi Police has taken an initiative to organise Special Raahgiri Days at Dilli Haat, Janak Puri, which was first organised on January 17. The same will be held on upcoming Sundays i.e. on January 24 and January 31. 

The main attractions in the upcoming event will be live band and dance performances, meditation, Zumba, yoga, aerobics, rope malkham, tug of war, etc.  For the aspiring students, a special lecture on medical entrance exam and career counselling by Dr Nidhi Sharma will also be organised.  Other attractions of the event will include medical check-ups, cancer examination, exhibition of various traffic rules and various sporting events. The activities organised during the event will make sure that visitors get engaged and enjoy the event to the fullest. The entry will be kept free for the visitors during the event.

The event, held on January 17 recorded a footfall of more than 1000 visitors, during which visitors participated in various activities like Pithoo Games, Rock Ball, Basket Ball and other sports. Various other activities like street plays, mimicry show and gymnasts spell bounded the audience. NGO Maa Shakti and Delhi Police also stepped in for promoting social welfare activities through banners and playcards. Visitors also enjoyed the flavours of various Indian delicacies at Dilli Haat.
