Spa manager accused of rape on the run

The manager of a private salon is on the run for allegedly raping a 21-year-old woman in his parlor. It was just a week that the woman had joined the spa and was facing problems from her manager. In her complaint, she also mentioned that in the initial days, there had been attempts of assault on her by the manager.

The accused has been identified as Bunty. The incident took place at the Karki Spa in Celebration Mall in Gurgaon, Sohna Road.

The FIR was filed at the Sadar police station on Monday afternoon. The accused has been charged under Section 376D, 342 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to information received, both the victim and the accused are residents of Gurgaon. The spa has branches in Delhi and this was its first unit in Gurgaon. Sources also reveal the role of another suspect who is claimed to be a friend of the <g data-gr-id="22">manager</g> but the details are yet to be confirmed. “We are investigating the matter and will be closely looking at this case. Since the accused is on the run, the information can be confirmed only after his arrest”, Dharna Yadav, ACP Sadar, told Millennium Post.
