South Delhi double murder: Kingpin arrested from Agra

The Delhi Police have arrested the mastermind of the twin murders of the women whose mutilated bodies were found in Munirka and Vasant Vihar in the month of November in South Delhi. The main accused Arjun, who was absconding was  arrested from Agra in Uttar Pradesh. The missing head of one of the victim was also recovered. Two of his associates have been arrested earlier.

The interrogations of the arrested accused Jeevan and Mini Sangam, alias Neha, had revealed that Arjun had several bases, not only in Delhi but in several other states where he had associates and facilitators. The mobile locations of some of the numbers being then used by Arjun was found to be near an International Border which gave the impression that he might have left India. 

On interrogation, Neha revealed that Arjun had made plans to return soon and to move to a South Indian location from where he could carry out his spa related facilitation services. “The accused has confessed to his crime and on his instance a sewer manhole was opened and a female skull was recovered. It was taken into police custody for forensic examination,” said DCP South Ishwar Singh. Mutilated bodies of two women were recovered on November 18 and 25 from South Delhi’s Munirka and Vasant Vihar. The girls were murdered by the accused Arjun,Govind  and Jeevan along with Neha as the accused Arjun was under pressure to return money.
