Sourav Ganguly to campaign for Vaishali Dalmiya

Vaishali Dalmiya, Trinamool Congress candidate from Bally Assembly constituency, on Monday said that the former captain of the Indian cricket team will be campaigning for her in the second week of April. On Monday she held a meeting with Ganguly. She said after the meeting the former captain and the president of Cricket Association of Bengal that at present he is busy as the World Cup T-20 matches are going on. But she is hopeful that Ganguly will be going to Bally to campaign for her. Dalmiya said: “We are planning to organise a bid programme in Bally where thousands of people can gather at a time. There is also a plan to organise a football match and talks in this regard with the senior leaders are going on.”
