Soon, DND to become Delhi-UP border

The Delhi-Noida-Delhi flyway, after being toll free, will now turn into the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. As per the planning, the authority is likely to construct a police check post with barricades within the next one week. This initiative has been taken keeping in mind the security of the region. As soon as the toll went free, the authority held a meeting with police officials discussing the need and ways they can adopt to improve the security policies of the region.

The Noida authority CEO along with senior police officials conducted a meeting emphasising on the need to improve the security of the region. The decision to turn DND into Delhi-UP border was especially taken to have a continuous eye on the vehicles entering Delhi. The already mounted CCTV cameras at DND will be connected to the police control room and the area will be put under surveillance to avoid any suspected vehicle or person entering the region. A special team of police will be active there for 24 hours and vehicles will be checked for security reasons. According to cops: “This move will surely improve the situation of law and order and will put a check on criminal and illegal activities carried out.”
