Songs are not suicidal, feels Marilyn Manson
Musician Marilyn Manson has spoken about the misconception that if artists write songs which <g data-gr-id="11">appears</g> to be suicidal, it doesn’t mean they are going to kill themselves.
The Sweet dreams hitmaker, who has spoken outwardly about self-harm in the past, has assured fans he is not suicidal and that if he was to take his own life, he would “take everyone” with him, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“You might mistake a song for being suicidal, but that’s a state of thought. It’s the whole point of art rather than doing something, you just express it,” he said at the Cannes Lions advertising festival on Tuesday.
