Son, two others arrested for getting man killed for property

The Crime Branch has arrested a 37-year-old man along with two contract killers for assassinating the man’s father to usurp his property and wealth in order to settle his huge debts. The deceased was a renowned landlord of <g data-gr-id="23">Bankner</g> Village in Narela.

The main accused has been identified as Ashok who hired the two contract killers--Jitender(24) and Neetu (26). The murder took place on November last year when Maman, the father of <g data-gr-id="25">Ashok ,had</g> gone for a morning walk and later his body was found at <g data-gr-id="21">Manirpur</g> Road with deep stab mark on his chest.

During investigation it was learnt that Ashok had got his father killed through two contract killers and both the contract killers would come near Satyavadi Raja Harish Chander Hospital in Narela to settle the balance amount of their contract of Rs 20 lakh. All the three accused were arrested and on sustained interrogation Ashok told police that he had taken huge loans to the tune of Rs 70 lakh to meet the expenses of compensation given to his first wife for divorce as well as heavy losses incurred in betting.

Maman was a renowned landlord of <g data-gr-id="32">Bankner</g> Village in Narela, who was possessing land and properties worth crores of rupees. He had refused to give him money and also disowned him from his wealth and properties. In distress, Ashok initially attempted to commit suicide but survived. When Ashok came to know that his father was planning to transfer all his properties to the name of his married sister, he decided to kill him and usurp his property. He hired two contract killers for Rs 20 lakh to eliminate him. He briefed the killers about his father’s daily routine and suggested them to kill him when he would go out to the fields for <g data-gr-id="31">morning</g> walk.
