'Some vested interest in BJP maligning me'

BJP MP from Patna Saheb Shatrughan Sinha, who is accused of ignoring the needs of people of his constituency, on Friday rubbished the charge saying it was handiwork of some vested interest in his own party.

"I am not fly by night kind of politicians which <g data-gr-id="10">filmstars</g> and other popular personalities who enter into politics are generally accused of...its a baseless allegation leveled by vested interest some of them in my party BJP for political reasons," he said.

Sinha said in the past one year of his election as an MP from Patna Saheb for the second consecutive term, he had sent 156 recommendations from MPLAD fund for construction of PCC roads, community halls,  ambulance and handpump installation among others in his constituency.
