Sohrabuddin kin to file plea on Shah discharge

Fresh trouble is brewing for the BJP president Amit Shah in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. Rubabuddin Sheikh, brother of Sohrabuddin Sheikh, is going to file a plea against discharge of Shah by a trial court on February 4. Speaking to Millennium Post over telephone Rubabuddin, said, “On February 3, I am going to Mumbai after having a series of discussions with our lawyers. We will a file plea against court’s earlier decision on Shah’s discharge.”  When asked why he had taken this long to file the plea, he said, “This time we don’t want to make any mistake and my case will be backed by a team of lawyers with the core team from Madhya Pradesh. I am hopeful that we will get justice this time since there is enough evidence against him.”

Shah’s acquittal in the matter on December 30 last year had invited severe criticism from the opposition leaders and raised questions over the functioning of country’s premier probe agency.
