Social media outcry over Ggn JCP’s sudden transfer

A protest against the transfer of a top cop has become a <g data-gr-id="20">trend setter</g> in Gurgaon. The residents of the Millennium City staged a protest against the order of the transfer of Joint Commissioner of Police Bharti Arora to <g data-gr-id="21">Panchuka</g>. Arora’s supporters started a Facebook page on Tuesday- “Bring Back Bharti” with over 400 likes on the page.

The description of the Facebook page read — “If you are <g data-gr-id="19">supporter</g> of truth and want it to prevail. Then stand up For this Daring lady IPS officer”.

It was a fortnight ago when she started her battle against the allegations made against her. She had also written a complaint to DGP Haryana against Navdeep Singh Virk the Commissioner of Police who has seized her Facebook password and barred her from using the Gurgaon traffic’s Facebook Page. “Bring Back Bharti” has been started by the supporters of Bharti Arora, who feel that the JCP has been transferred due to her differences with the Police Commissioner, Virk, over the investigation of a rape case.

Another post in her support read-“<g data-gr-id="22">Inspite</g> of her being transferred last night, she did not shut herself from her ongoing assignment and challenge of getting rid of the traffic chaos in Gurgaon. The mental agony of transfer was still there but being a first class officer of highest integrity, Bharti Arora was exemplary living the popular phrase-THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!.”

The supporters are now all set to take this protest forward and have planned to write to Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar to request the cancellation of transfer orders.
