Social jurist asks govt to fill up vacant teaching posts

Social Jurist Ashok Agarwal has demanded Delhi government to fill the vacancies of teachers in a government school in Bhati Mines that serve mainly the Hindu families taken refuse in Bhati Mines area.

“Against the sanctioned strength of 70 teachers including principals, 27 have been posted. However, 33 guest teachers including one computer teacher have also been posted,” said Agarwal. 

The Government Coed Senior Secondary School, Bhatti Mines is situated on a land measuring 29,939.61 sq m. This school runs for classes VI to class XII. 

810 girl students and 1,123 boy students are studying in the said school. The said school is functioning for many years. The grievance on behalf of 1,933 students studying in the said school is that there are only 28 prefabricated classrooms with tin roofs against 41 sections of students.
